You're right about this list being a mine of information.  From this list I
learned that the 24/2.8 Elmarit-R (one of which I own) is the badest
doggiest Leica prime lens of the current R and M line ups.  Apparently.

Damn, now I know what a bad lens it is, I'll have to junk all those
wonderful images I took in Japan. I knew they were too good to be true. 

The 24 may be due for a re-do, but the older lens is not really a slouch,
and its a great lens for bumming around with out a filter ;-)
