the lens is a homemade planar by rollei with their special multicoating that
never makes up for legendary zeiss quality in your mind. the original
automat dies that automatically took you to #1 were melted down so they had
to use the rolleicord mechanism w/start marks.  if you never had a real
rollei aautomat from
say 1939 to 60 or so you just might like it.ralph
