Subject: [Leica] My first computer darkroom print

I just printed off my first image on my Epson Stylus 750 and all I can say
is...... Wait, I am getting ahead of myself.

I had a few scans done of problem negs from ten or so years back and shot
them into PhotoShop LE to have some fun. Very impressive. You can get right
down to individual pixels. Amazing control and that undo feature makes
experimenting fun and painless. So I tweaked the levels and curves, did a
little burning of a few hotspots and retouched the eyes slightly.

Then I got out the brand new superduper photo paper and fired up the
printer. Selected highest quality, hey I use Leicas, and punched the launch
button. I turned to my darling wife and told her proudly what I was up to
and noticed that the printer was finished. I turned around and the paper
looked blank! I pulled it out of the machine and there.....right in the very
centre.....was a negative sized, high quality, image!

I kind of like the big white borders, don't you?
