Tom,

A while back,  maybe a year or so, I don't quite remember, I got a phone call 
from a market research firm in London (I live in the US).  They wanted my 
opinion on a number of cameras including Leica.  At the end of the 
conversation which lasted several minutes and went into a fair amount of 
detail, the man I was talking to admitted that they were hired by Leica to do 
this research.  They talk to more than just housewives at the mall.
