Very impressive summary of the Nikkor 85 f1.4 features. I've
seen results from a 75 Summilux.......quite beautiful!

Integrating all the great comments to date; I'm closer to trying
to decide between the Nikkor 85 f1.4 & the R-80 f1.4 lenses.

I've got the impression that the 85 Contax f1.4 is softer at the
wider apertures ( f1.4 thru f2 ) than either of the above lenses.

And that both the Nikkor & the Leica maintain the great "bokeh" ;-)! 
Thus, leaving the focal length delta ( 5mm ) & AF as independent
variables.

A fair conclusion?  LUGmates!
