In the color the dress pulls my eye from the face. This is my feeling exactly. In the color version my attention is split between the face and the clothing as both are equally sharp and the cloth is the most saturated element in the photo. The B/W version, however, draws my eye right to the youngster's face. I like it! - -Dave-
