They are exactly the same photograph.  The color was removed by 
desaturating in Photoshop - no other changes were made.  I chose this 
photograph because to me the eyes look bigger and more open in the black 
and white than in the color, even though they are not.  To me, it 
illustrates the fact that we are more aware of the eyes and facial 
expression in black and white than in color.
