Same from Peter Dechert, in 'C***n Rangefinder Cameras 1933-68'.

 <<Hello Luggers,
I was at my favorite thrift store last week and spied a Canon IVSB2 (I
think),
#1319XX sitting on the shelf (not even the collectables case) for $4.95.
It has a nice 50/1.8 lens (#2716XX) and was too good to pass up. >>

If you are unsure about which model you have, as between the earlier
design IVSB and later IVSB2, the easiest feature to use to distinguish
between the two is the top or main shutter speed dial. On the 2, it is a
2-piece affair, with a central or core piece with indicator arrow, with a
rotating collar having speed numbers. I am assuming, of course, that the top
speed of your camera is 1000 and there is a slow speed dial. No matter which
model, you got a serious bargain. Good luck on the repairs.
