If people would settle on a subject to call it, it may be easier to 
track the related messages, or filter them out for those tired of 
hearing about it. If that can't be settled, a separate list might be 
useful, with someone reporting occasionally to the masses.

Another suggestion - to give some limit to the number of entries per 
photographer per year to make the editors' jobs easier, not to 
mention the judges.
