The focus mounts for the 50/2 are standard and the 50/2 optical units are all selected for a focal length of 51.9mm. Thanks to Mike J. for pointing this out and getting me digging for the specifics. Warning incorrect reply written by idiot below!!! - ------------------ You can use the optical unit from the early rigid chrome 50/2 (SOSIC/11818), the DR or the 50/2 11817. Regardless, you will have to have your new lens collimated and I am not about to get into the old std/DR debate on whether they have the same or different optical formulations.
