True.  I also believe it is of interest, perhaps in slightly less detail than 
you suggest, to photographers who might wish to utilize the process by which 
a particular image was captured and produced.  That kind of sharing of 
information is essential to the advancement of any given pool of knowledge, 
be it characterized as scientific, artistic or a hybrid discipline such as 
photography.  I recall having seen such an intellectual process unfold, 
however sporadically and tentatively, here on the very LUG.
