The first Summitar I owned is fondly remembered; I seem to remember that 
the bokeh was superb.  I don't remember whether the blades were 
rounded.  The second one definitely had the rounded blades, and gave a 
confused out-of-focus image; I traded it in.  The Canon 50/1.4 is vastly 
superior to this later lens.  I miss the collapsibility, however, and the 
fetish value:  on a Leica LTM, nothing looks funkier than a Summitar.
