Kosina claim an angle of view of 110 deg for this lens, does anybody
know if this is along the longest edge of the film i.e 36mm or is it
the diagonal approx 44mm?

Im hopeless at trig, if we assume 110 deg along the longest edge how
do I calculate the angle of view for a measured area on the negative?

Can I just take a percentage of the linear measurement, thus the short
edge (24mm) would be approx 73 deg?

I photographed a lunar halo last night with a IIIC and I want to
establish whether it was a common 22 degree or an exceptionally rare
46 deg halo!

TIA

Jason
