Now now.  He's an acquired taste, to be sure, but after spending a few 
hours with The Democratic Forest, I'm more than convinced:  he's an 
original.  I think it's about the colors of nostalgia.  And the loose 
framing is revolutionary -- you saw it early on in street photography, but 
not in landscape work.
