Would anyone care to comment on the merits of current chrome vs black
M lenses. The chrome are heavier by about 90 -100 g due to more brass
than alloy in their construction, but aesthetics aside, is there any
difference in mechanical stability at temperature extremes, or in
durability? I would appreciate your thoughts on these or any other
aspects. (Sorry if this topic has been well-trodden already, but I've
not seen anything on it yet.)
