The only 50mm R lens I'm familiar with is the Summicron (11215, c. 1981) I
own. It's light, relatively compact and performs as well as any 50mm lens
I've ever used. Unless f/1.4 is important to you at this focal length I
don't think you can go wrong with the 'cron.
