Until recently, I used Olympus optics, with a good 2.8 24mm.
I had the opportunity to buy a 1967 Leica R, with a 2 50mm Summicron, in
a flea market for 300$.I immediatly fell in love with it, and decided to
complete my objectives range. In France, we have sometimes good
bargains. I bought then a 2.8 90mm Elmarit, and I need short focus for
architectural and general pictures. I like 24mm, and when I travel, I
bring a 24mm and a 100mm.
My favorite pictures are B&W, and I develop in my very old darkroom. I
am an old timer photograph!
24mm may be used too for wide field astronomical pictures, for instance
Milkyway and shooting stars.
