The "Skinny" T-E...a wonderful lens in my opinion...takes an E39.  That is,
it takes an E39 if one is so foolish as to care what size filter a lens
requires.

The 90/2.8 Elmarit-M takes a E46 filter. Could you be referring to a older
90/2.8 Elmarit with a chrome barrel?
