I suspect they do if they're street-shooting in the Bronx.  Or they risk 
going Leicaless.

Actually, it is a commonplace among travelling photographers who visit 
dodgy locations:  the cheaper your camera looks, the better.  You don't 
want to look like a wealthy tourist, and you don't want to look like a 
pro.  Nobody murders people for point-and-shoots.  Which is one of the 
reasons  I adored the Ricoh GR-1:  to anyone but a camera geek it looks 
like a forty-dollar disposable.

My dots are fully exposed, but they won't be if I venture too far from Soho.
