[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]william gower asked about the jupiter 85 2.0 -- i have one, chrome, it's pretty big, but light -- (comparitively speaking i guess) -- monster big piece of glass in the front -- mine has a bubble right smack in the middle of it about 1mm in diameter -- who can say how much it affects the image quality. i paid about $69 for it on ebay which was a bargan for all the times i need to use that focal length (i try and stick with 28mm or 35mm). it's a fun lens. build quality is not so great - -- no click stops on the aperture scale focusing in metric only. it's an okay lens. don't spend too much on one and you wont be terribly sad if you dent it. kc
