I have the minilux with the Leica Summarit f/2.4/40mm lens. They are good
cameras, with titanium bodies "in the elegant Leica design", leather grip
surfaces, metal precision film works. I also have a Contax TVSIII, which has
the Zeiss 30-60mm F3.7-6.7 lens and the very cool black body. Both cameras
have manual as well as programmed functions and very accurate meters; both
take very excellent pics.
I also have an M6 with a Summicron-M 1:2/35 lens which I bought at Samys
today because I went in to get a diopter for my minilux and Nigel Skeet
(Mr.Leica), a brother expatriate Englishman here in LA, said that I really
should give the M6 a try.
After Nigel's 40 minute tour of the ease and wonders of the M6, I had no
choice but to make the purchase. Now I have the M6, the 2 deluxe p&s and my
Contax RX with 21mm, 28mm, 35mm,50mm and 85mm Carl Zeiss lenses.
