No, no, no!

Pre-drinking is having a drink before you go out drinking! I thought
everyone did that!

I sometimes pre-pre-eat. This happens when I am very hungry. I put something
on the stove to cook, because I want a big delicious meal, but it takes a
while, so I think to myself... hmmm... I'll have some Marmite on toast as a
kind of pre-eat. But while the toast is in the toaster the hunger pangs get
so intense that I have to have a bit of bread and cheese while I'm waiting
for the marmite on toast to tide me over until I eat dinner.
