The repair depots have rolls of red dots which they replace with every
viewfinder vertical adjustment. It is very common for the original "Leitz"
dot to have been replaced if the camera has been serviced. If you are
partial to your "Leitz" dot, make sure you ask your repair person to save it
for reuse.
