Subject: RE: [Leica] Difference between the Focomat IIA and IIC

Ferrel,
A comprehensive resume of the larger Focomats.
I can add, having owned an early IIa myself and subsequent issues of the
instruction book, that later examples of the IIa featured a sliding mount
which held 2 lenses in place, like the later IIc.
I believe the IIb was only produced in (Leitz) New York during the war
years.

regards,
Jem

The IIA was fitted with a 50mm Focotar and, I believe, a 90 mm Focotar.
 Only
one lens could be used on the enlarger at a time.
