Subject: Re: [Leica] M6 TTL Storage - Shutter Cocked or Not?

I always put mine away with the shutter uncocked. I once failed to do so
and the shutter release was depressed by something in the drawer. Not
enough to trip the shutter but enough to keep the meter on. I took it out
to use, only to find that the battery was dead.

I suggest you do your meter comparisons with an empty camera, or unload
before and reload afterwards.
