place the lens in the strongest bayonet mount you posess (your Leica), grip it as strongly as possible, and turn.

Heating it before hand may well help

This reminds me, I have a collapsible Summicron screw mount,
with an adapter somehow glued on to the thread. Any Ideas, how
to get it off without damaging the lens?.
