Damien,

It's more than just an excercise in exposure, it's delightfully ambiguous,
especially in the context of when its presented. In so many places this
could be snow, yet we eventually understand (as the picture is revealed
downwards and towards us) that it is, of course, sea foam.
The contrast of the white foam against the black sand is strong and the
depressions of the footprints give rise to the curious question of who were
the people who examined the foam. What did they see which we cannot, are
they the same people who take this photograph, or were they others?

Lots of good stuff here,

Jem

Nothing special; just one more exercise in an effort to understand
exposure. http://www.teleport.com/~damian/unasemana/
