As a Summicron owner who now owns a 35/1.4 ASPH; Yes! The extra stop is
definately worth it. Reason. More than once I've used f1.4 at 1/30 rather
than f2 at 1/15. Image degradation caused by slow shutter speed -- and my
hand if fairly steady -- is FAR greater than degradation caused by the
faster aperture. Plus, the 35/1.4 ASPH is no slouch wide open.
