I had a 350/4.8 and a 280/2.8 together for several years. Also had the 1.4x
and 2x extenders. Sold the 280 and 1.4x and kept the 350 and 2x. The 350 is
a sleeper lens in that its performance is stellar with and without the 2x
extender. It is one of the lenses that I will never sell as there is
nothing like it. 350 is a great tele focal length. And at 700mm with the
2x... wonderful combination.
