There's a Minolta one out (or was, a few years ago) which is
exceptionally well-made.  BUT, often the really cheap ones are limper
and thus less likely to transmit quivers to the camera -- so, the
plunger push is a little rough;  so, the thing wears out sooner;
they're practically free.  But if you want a pleasingly-crafted one to
fondle, check out the Minolta.  Named "Cable Release II" or some such?
Purely from memory, so I could even have the Minolta part wrong.  But
probably not.
