Subject: [Leica] Bessa T

I have been away for the past few days, and was much
surprised by the controversy and rancor generated by
the Bessa-T news. Hey, was it like this in the 30's
during the great RF war between Contax and Leica fans?
Interestingly, the position seems to have been
reversed. Separate VF/RF may not be for everyone, but
it seems Leica III's ultimately triumphed (although
Capa preferred the Contax).

Personally, I think the T is a much more interesting
alternative to the L - it certainly has a much more
interesting feature set - but would I fish out $500
for a new camera? Probably not. Now, if Cosina comes
out with a Canon clone with combined VF with variable
magnification, that will be a killer! Anyway, thanks
Stephen and Tom for the info.

Is Cosina coming out with a variable finder, or should
I be hoarding the old TEWE ones?
