Subject: [Leica] Tri-elmar

After much dithering about replacing my 35mm Summilux with a new Summicron
I've gone down a rather different route.

I've decided to keep the Summilux and have just ordered a new Tri-Elmar from
Ffordes here in the UK. I think that this lens will be useful for the kind
of stuff I do most of the time (daylight travel/street) and it gives me a
28mm lens also. The Summilux of course will be available for low light
situations.

Now for my question. I understand from speaking to the salesman at Ffordes
that the lens does not come with a lens hood. Is one available (I forgot to
ask when I ordered), or is the lens meant to be used without one (i.e. is
the front element recessed in the barrel)?

Thanks in advance
