Odd then that http://www.minox-web.de/english/produkte_classics.html
includes the line:

"The miniature format Leica IIIf. MINOX has faithfully recreated the
original on a scale of 1:3"

So you say that Minox is merely the distributor, while Minox itself seems to
be claiing rather more.
