Well Jim... let's see. First I do feel that the photos are masterful from a
technical point of view.  And remember, while I have some taste I think, I
am an amateur photographer, so this is to be taken with a grain of salt.  I
don't pretend to be an expert.
I find though the quest for flawlessness becomes an end in itself, that
often drains the image of any real life or drama, rather eviscerates it, ...
strong word I know, but I feel true, and that is what I mean by "over-
production ".Sort of like a musical performace in a studio, rather than a
live performance..... however technically polished....


however I cannot make technical gems like these.......Steve
