I recall the liner notes to a record album by one of that crop of
Minimalists a few years back... don't think it was Terry Riley, pretty
sure it would've been La Monte Young, he of the extended Dia Foundation
Dream House free lunch -- where the composer's not-at-all-short essay
had extensive footnotes referencing several of his own unpublished
papers.  Unpublished papers -- does that mean they're in a filing
cabinet somewhere in his house?
