Subject: [Leica] Base plate of the R6.2

Dear all, This is a question on the R6.2, hope someone out there has one of
these too. No, I don't have an M!

I recently traded in my R6 for a new R6.2 and found that when I am winding
the film, some mechanicism seem to be rubbing the inside of the base plate.
I have not felt this on my old R6 before. I removed the base plate to have
a look, but all seems okay, and there does not seem to be any scratch marks
on the inside of the base plate. The inside of the base plate is of black
matted material so maybe even if there is some mechanisim touching it, it
may not be obvious. But on winding the film, I definitely feel something
"moving" under the plate. Any ideas anyone?

thanks,
best regards,
Terence Yong
