Passport is generally for warranty and damage. Cleaning and adjusting is
not part of this unless you claim a malfunction and they have to service it
to remedy the alleged problem.

Question... why would you want or need a CLA in only three years? If there
is something wrong with your camera that leads you to believe it needs a
CLA, send it in under the problem. Don't ask for a CLA.

If you are one who just has to do something to your camera even though it
works perfectly, send it to Sherry or DAG. Not Leica NJ.

Best advice... use your camera until it starts to complain. Which may never
happen as long as you routinely use it.

I have an M3 that has never been looked at by anyone. It is as smooth as
glass, quiet, and everything works perfectly. No one will see it until it
starts to complain. It may never complain.
