A couple of things about the 2000P:

Its slow from what I've read. I don't have one to say for sure.
Its has a problem with metamerism or apparent color changes in different 
lighting. It is difficult to make neutral B&W prints. The other less 
permanent models 1270,1280/90, etc. Seem to be less affected by this.
(the 1290 and 1280 are the same printer with different names depending on 
where in the world you buy it)

You can buy the 1270 or 1280/90 for half of what the 2000P sells for.
