That's my experience too -- but it's dramatically different from my
first experience with an M6TTL. Damn' thing sucked batteries dry in a
month or two. Then I sent it in for repair -- the viewfinder was out
of whack -- and I whined a bit about the battery life while I was at
it. Didn't hear anything for about a YEAR. Then they sent me a brand
new camera which works great. Apparently the cagey devils were
redesigning the whole metering circuit, and wanted to make things
really right.
