I and another LUGger have been testing D400 and the highlights can be
beautifully controlled by using Xtol pseudo divided, ie dunk for about 2/3
to 3/4 the recommended time in your regular poison (Xtol straight or 1:1)
then transfer without  rinsing or stopping to a sodium metaborate, borax or
sodium carbonate bath and let stand for 3 mins. Really sweet. Even works if
you push it to 800 and 1600.
