I've been shooting 45x45 mm 16 on a roll format photos with my 80/2.8 Planar on
my 500CM.
It gives me the same angle as if i were shooting with the 110! But a compact approach!
Today i did some shooting with this new back whichi just got for 120 bucks, (the
16S) with my 50 Distagon. Gives me the same angle as my 45 GN on my Nikon!
It's not as if the outside 5mm on a Hassy would be of a lessor quality then that
center and nice to cut off. These are very conservative premium optics Zeiss.
(somehow now the same Zeiss which goes on your G1 or G2 in most cases)
It's nice though to in effect make my Hassy like a Leica. I've got framelines
now and i love working with them. Looking around them. Framing my shots with
that Zen approach: for what's NOT in the frame more than what's IN it!
I've seen hassy lenes mounted on Nikons (a sideman for Ray Charles did it) but
it looks pretty awkward to me!

I EARN it!
