The colors are accurate to the original slides.  It took me many
attempts to get them looking correctly.

WOW that is superb, well worth the 40 hours, thanks for sending.

The colours look a little strange though (pastel/painterly??), is that
from over manipulation in paintshop?  Also I can see an artefact
perhaps from unsharp filter at the boundary between the summits and
the sky.  Stunning though, wish I'd done it and I wish I was in those
hills now!!!
