Born, during the Holocaust, in Pau ( France) after my parents fled from Holland and
were sent back by the Swiss and the Spanish border police.
After many wanderings we fled a second time into Switzerland (Montreux), staying
there until the end of 1945 when my family repatriated to Holland.
Anyhow the Swiss saved our lives.
Please don't start a discussion about it. It is not really a Leica subject.
After staying some time in Eindhoven I grow up in the Hague. I lived some time at
Leiden and Amersfoort.
In 1975 I emigrated to Israel. After some years in Haifa I am living now for many
years in Rishon Le Zion, near Tel Aviv .
Holland and Israel both are very special and photogenic. Israel with its varied
nature and human landcape is a never finishing subject.
