There is a small company that specializes in photographic a waist carry system which is very versitle and can be changed to meet the daily needs of the photographer. It is a modular system where various different bags are attached to a padded belt. Information can be found on his web site at www.kinesisgear.com. I use his bags and like them very much. It's much more comfortable to carry a camera and a few lenses around all day than in a shoulder carry.
