Right.. that wonderful bridge in LA Harbor will be open to foot traffic...first time ever, and maybe last time in our lifetimes......... I have wanted to be up there for years..... 9:45 is the appointed time... see the LA Times Weekend Section for more Details...parking, etc. For those who have no clue.... there is about 2 bridges in LA that are photogenic or have photogenic viewpopints.. this one spans the area from one dock yard to another, is quite tall by anyone's standards, and is usually filled with trucks, and ALWAYS closed to foot traffic..... From here, on a clear day ( NO SMOG JOKES!) you have a wondeful view of Downtown LA, about 20 miles due north. BTW, the other bridge is the one in Pasadena which was open last week to foot traffic..... Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net
