my neighbor has his camera fix (same problem with your camera) from leica @
NJ (where we live too) for 150+ dollars.  i think it is a worth thing to do
for that R4s body

You'll make a more informed decision once you have an estimate for repairs.
From my experience the R4s is a good, reliable body, and this may not be an
expensive repair.  I'd spend as much as $300 for repairs on the R4s but I
doubt this will cost that much.
