Lets not forget as i play with my new grip i just got an  hour ago of Toms that
it makes it much easier to pull a camera out of a camera bag by it's grip. 

I use small camera bags instead of cameras with straps. 

I pull the camera out of the bag which is in there grip up. 

Makes for quite a quick draw arrangement.
