Hugh, Kyle, and other interested Luggers,
    The installation of regular PC flash contact on an M3 or M2 is a simple
job.
    Unfortunately it does require removing the top plate, which drives up
the cost.
    In the past, Leica USA would install PC contacts into an M2 or M3 for
the cost of the part, WHEN the camera was in for any service which required
removal of the top plate. The cost of the part was about $45.00.
    You'll have to contact them to find out if they still do this.
