I went out several times in the last few days with my new Rapidwinder and even
newer grip that Damian Dlugolecki brought down for me from Tom's.
The grip makes it so you can pull your camera right out of a small bag like i
have it very swiftly and easily, he said grippingly. But I put the Leica strap
on it for a change!

I'm happy about having spare batteries in it but i wonder how many i can put in
there before it reaches critical mass and blows my pinky off! Do they all have
to be facing the same way?

The only lens over the past week I've used with the grip has been the 35
Summicron Asph. I've not even used it with a heavy lens yet. I've had my 50 in
my bag but not put it on.

I don't feel the Rapidwinder and grip add enough weight and mass to be noticeable.

Now i am shooting sequences of shots where previously I'd only do a shot. Can't
wait to see my contacts. It's a whole new ballgame. Same as if there were a
little mini-moter in the camera. Zing zing zing only I've got my left thumb
going which is more fun.
