if you are going to shoot Neopan this way I would use a much stronger
dilution to reduce the grain. I would use 1:1 or stock. I know the
processing times are getting real short but it will stop your grain problem
in its tracks. The speed increase and compensation you get from the 3:1
dilution aren't really relevant when you are shooting it this way.

Also consider pushing Delta 400 to 800 with an alkali bath to increase
shadow detail.
